Eyewitness evidence

Article: Is Eyewitness Evidence Bad Evidence?

This is the second article in a series on eyewitness evidence, and specifically hones in on the notion of eyewitness bias. Bias is one of those powerful words that can often stop a conversation in its tracks. The author here helps give a 3-d look at bias and how it can actually be helpful in evaluating the Gospel claims.

While bias has become a pejorative
in the common usage, in some cases bias
may actually produce a more accurate picture.
One cannot merely assume that “bias” in
the gospels equals “inaccurate.”
