Video: When A Friend Deconstructs | 4 Things To Do
The advice here is simple, but hard to follow-through with. My main takeaway is to be patient and be a good friend. Don’t be like Job’s friends and bombard them with attacks. Remember, without love we are nothing but banging gongs.
Dealing With Deconstruction: The trend of Christians who are deconstructing is growing. Maybe the numbers aren’t more, but people are far more open about it now than just a few years ago. Friends who you went to church with might be on the deconstruction journey. I want to speak to those who have a friend who is deconstructing in this video and give 4 things you can do when you learn a friend is on this journey. They are 1. Listen intently, 2. Understand the deconstructing process, 3. Process questions/concerns with them, and 4. Don’t abandon them.
