Terminology Tuesday: Social Trinitarianism
Theories of the Trinity inspired by some of the Greek church fathers that emphasize the distinctness of the three persons of the Trinity and understand the oneness of the Trinity as the unity of a community. (See Cappadocian fathers.) The danger in such a view is that it will slide into tritheism, a belief in three gods.
