Where does morality come from? Some claim God is the ultimate source of all moral values and duties. Others disagree. Dr. Erik Wielenberg (atheist) argues that morality doesn’t come from anywhere, it just is; morality has no, and needs no, explanation. Dr. William Lane Craig (Christian) argues that God is the best explanation for objective morality. Who is correct? Join us for this exciting debate which is free, open to the public, and doesn’t require tickets!

Attend in person for FREE or watch live at ncstate.symposiachristi.net the day of the event.

Both speakers are giving a lecture the next day at a symposium that explores moral issues. It is also free. See https://www.facebook.com/events/898371600330741/?active_tab=about.

Dr. Wielenberg is the Professor of Philosophy at DePauw University. He earned his doctorate from the University of Massachusetts (Amherst) (Ph.D.), and spent a year studying at the Center for Philosophy of Religion at the University of Notre Dame. He has authored three books in ethics and the philosophy of religion.

Dr. Craig is the Research Professor of Philosophy at Talbot School of Theology and the Professor of Philosophy at Houston Baptist University. He earned doctorates from the University of Birmingham (England) (Ph.D.), and the University of Munich (Germany) (D.Theol.). He has authored or edited over thirty books.
