Moral Good

Video: God & Moral Motivation

Here we are again, it’s Monday morning… whether or not that brings you a sigh, let’s jump right into some apologetics! This video goes deep fast — it’s goes well beyond the basic CS Lewis moral argument, delving into Prichard’s dilemma and a whole bunch of other stuff!

The Analytic Christian: Dr. Anne Jeffrey is a professor of philosophy at Baylor University. In my previous interview, we discussed the explanatory role God plays in moral normativity and moral epistemology. In this interview Dr. Jeffrey and I will discuss four arguments that God plays a significant explanatory role in moral motivation. The first of these four arguments is based on a forthcoming paper by Dr. Jeffrey titled, “Divine Friendship and Moral Motivation.”
