Terminology Tuesday: Kalam Cosmological Argument
Version of the first-cause argument for God’s reality, developed by Islamic thinkers, which claims that the world must have had a beginning and that God must exist as the cause of that beginning. Defended in the twentieth century by William Lane Craig. See also cosmological argument; Islamic philosophy; theistic arguments.
